Deborah's Journal - Arctic Circle Charity Challenge

In April I shall be undertaking the Arctic Circle Husky Sled Charity Challenge in aid of the "New Children's Hospital Appeal". This blogspot is primarily to let friends, family and all supporters know how training/fundraising efforts are going along with anything else that crops up over the next couple of months. Past Project

Embroidered Pillows

The two printed panels were bought as "Di Van Niekerk" kits from, I think, a South African based company. The idea behind them being you buy the printed picture then use bits and pieces of leftover stranded cottons to embroider as much or as little as you want. Spare chintz fabric was used to finish them off by making them into little pillows.

The design area measures approx 18cm x 15cm. Stitches used: Stem/straight/satin stitch, french knots, bullion knots.
